My baby is 4 months old already! How did that happen? Actually when I think about it, 4 months isn't really that long of a time and yet it feels like Trey has been a part of my life forever now. I can't remember what life was like without him - and I don't ever want to.
Seriously being a mom is awesome. Having a little nugget that interacts with you and has his own personality is so much fun. Trey is a really smiley guy. He smiles A LOT. And he laughs too. It's adorable.
He "talks" a lot and can roll over both ways. He's very strong too. All things that we get very excited about as parents but probably aren't that cool to other people. I remember the first time Trey started interacting with the toys dangling from his play mat, I sent a video to Aaron at work of Trey swatting at the toys. I really don't think anyone else in the world would find that video interesting except for us.
They just develop so fast it's fun to watch them grow. Speaking of growing, Trey had a check-up yesterday and he weighs 15 lbs 7oz which means he's in the 48th percentile for weight. And we were thinking he was a real chunk but it turns out he's just average. He's in the 84th percentile for height though at 26 inches and his head size is in the 44th percentile.
I love comparing him now to younger photos. Below are comparisons from 2 months to 4 months.
In the picture above he is two months old.
And below he's four months old.
He's got the chunks.
Now this picture below I absolutely love. He's two months old here.
I wanted to take the same pose marking his four months but he wouldn't just sit next to the kangaroo. He was constantly trying to put it in his mouth.
(4 months)
Here's two more photos from his two month shoot.
And here's the rest from his 4 month shoot.
If he's not putting something in his mouth he's constantly trying to grab his feet.
He looks like a little old man here. :)
He is so much fun now and such a good boy. (Shortly after I typed that sentence he spit up in my hair. . . thanks little dude.)
